Hawkins Pictures is an independent production company created by Writer, Director and Cinematographer Matt Sturrock. Founded out of a desire to share stories worth hearing, we strive to make every project more compelling and thought provoking than the last.
Our debut short documentary "The Longest Road" was an official selection at the Toronto Independent Film Festival and Hamilton Film Festival, earning Canadian Screen Award Qualifying status.
Our narrative debut short film "Redundant" is currently on the festival circuit, and we aren't looking to slow down any time soon. With multiple projects in development, Hawkins Pictures is taking a new approach to indie filmmaking, while ensuring ethical and fair production practices for all artists and stakeholders involved
